Benefit for Asylum Seekers at the Border

Linda Zuba has been to the southern border five times, helping adults and children who are fleeing for their lives to avail themselves of our asylum laws.  She will report on the danger and inhumane conditions they’re exposed.  Paul Klazura, M.D. has provided medical assistance at the border, volunteering with Refugee Health Alliance.  Hear of the first-hand experiences.  Music by Vanessa Nieva.

A free-will offering will be taken to help Linda and organizations at the border provide aide to the many adults and children living on the streets and in shelters pending the asylum process (check donations payable to Linda Zuba Asylum Seekers).

Rainbow Warriors, a one-person play written by Linda, will be performed by Quetzie Ramirez-Ibarra.  First performed at the Rockford New Play Festival in September, the play keeps Linda’s promise to share stories of hope, courage and love from mothers she has encountered at the border.
