Beginning Sunday, Feb 10th, Ethnic Heritage Museum will spotlight local African Americans who have played an important role in the development of Rockford – past and present.

And on Sunday, March 17th at 2:30 will host (rescheduled date)

“Lewis Lemon – An Uncommon Life”

starring Carl Towns as Lewis Lemon

Written and produced by Dorothy Paige-Turner

A “living history” account of an ex-slave who became one of the Founding Fathers of the city of Rockford.
